<p>Berkey, &#8212; Sarah Jane (Whitney), was born June 21, 1878, at Bertrand, Nebr.; passed away at McMinnville, Oreg., April 11, 1955; aged 76 y. 9 m. 20 d. She had been in poor health for some time. On Jan. 10, 1894, she was united in marriage to Henry Berkey, who preceded her in death by 7 years. About 1903 they moved to Jasper Co., Mo., where they united with the Mennonite Church near Oronogo, Mo. In 1907 they moved to Wyoming where they lived until 1935, when they moved to Sheridan, Oreg. She is survived by 4 sons and 3 daughters (Samuel, Filer, Idaho; Oliver, Sheridan; John J., Pendleton, Oreg.; Chester, Buhl, Idaho; Mrs. Cordehlia Bush, Denver, Col.; Leah Phoenix, Torrance, Calif.; Katherine Ervin, Salem, Oreg.), 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Josephine Callwell, Burns, Wyo.) She was much interested in spiritual things and was faithful to her Lord and Saviour. Funeral services were conducted by G. D. Shenk and D. F. Shenk.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Blog entry about Bethlehem Cemetery in Washington County Arkansas.  There&#8217;s several family members from different branches of my family buried there.  Kind of interesting they were in the same place generations before their descendants married.  Check out the photo and info on Martha Muse Oliver and her husband Benjamin Franklin Johnson.  She was the granddaughter of two Revolutionary War veterans.  Thomas West and Mary Renshaw&#8217;s tombstones are also featured.</p>
