Clara Belle HILFINGER was born in Butler County, Pa., May 9th, 1878.
At the age of six years she came with her parents to Kansas and lived on a farm near Topeka.
In 1886 at the age of seven she moved to Jefferson county, where she spent her girlhood days.
On Nov. 4, 1896, she was married to George T. ARMSTEAD. To this union three children were born,
one son and two daughter. She died at the family home March the 23rd, 1910. The husband and
three children survive her to mourn her loss.
