Martha Muse Oliver, wife of Benjamin Franklin Johnson, comes from a pretty interesting family. She’s the grandmother of Ella Dorcas Johnson who married John Sylvester Blagg (just so y’all can place her).

So, Hurricane Gustav only wrecked a week of my life, not several months like Katrina….
Anyway, I’m back!
Found ancestry.com has Illinois state census and found Joseph Golladay living near David Whitney. Continues to sort of support the Golladay/Light/Whitney links.
Still working on the Long’s in Buchanan County too. I’ve had no luck clearing [...]
