So trying the wordpress app for the iPhone. Kinda cool. Also I really like the app from ancestry.com it let’s you have your tree and info right on your phone.

this is another really good site for historic newspapers.  just a few states are listed so far, but I’ve found two really cool articles about my ancestors.

FACT:
Jacob Light Founded New Richmond, OH
Probably bought land in Randolph Twp, Dearborn Co. in 1814
New Richmond is on Robert Beal’s survey of 1000 acres and David Jackson’s survey of 333 acres. 1804 – Jacob Light purchases the Jackson survey and lays out the town of New Richmond on 85 acres. Divided into [...]

Here’s some photos from Dayton Cemetery in Bourbon County Kansas of members of my family. My cousin took these after my grandmother’s burial there. Thought I’d put them up.
This cemetery was apparently founded on land donated by Valentine Brillhart John S. Blagg’s maternal Grandfather.
It’s located near Devon, Kansas.
